The Curmi Rock dance studio/promotions was formed on the 
1st July 2003 after an agreement was reached between Parramatta 
Leagues club and the principal of the Curmi Rock dance studio/
promotions being Mr Rockin Eddie Curmi After a lot of persuasion 
from a lot of friends, Rockin Eddie Curmi has a new direction in 
life to share and teach his style of Rock n Roll dancing, now known    
as the Curmi Rock.

The Curmi Rock of which won Rockin Eddie Curmi an Australian 
Championship and a handsome array of trophies, is fast becoming 
ever so popular in clubs all over Australia and overseas. The 
Curmi Rock is a style of true Rock n Roll 
with a touch of swing.

After lots of research, Mr Curmi has developed a unique and new 
technique of teaching "The Curmi Rock" to students of all ages.
This new technique is a combination of American/South American 
style of teaching. The technique focuses on tempo, timing and 
expression of the dance.

Curmi Rock Promotion is a part of Curmi Rock dance studio. 
This section looks and caters for functions of Rock & Roll for all 
to attend. Curmi Rock Promotions is in close contact with other 
dance schools throughout Australia and also has good communications 
with clubs, DJ’s, bands and media, thus ensuring that outings and 
functions are always of the best value and well worth the attendance.

Our aim is to increase the amount of venue’s available for one’s choosing.
